Small punctures, open seams, or fabric tears are the most common issues. Fully inflate the unit and listen for hissing or feel for escaping air. Use soapy water in a spray bottle to locate pinhole leaks—bubbles will form where air escapes.
Before applying any patch, the surface must be completely clean and dry. Use a soft cloth with mild detergent to wipe the area. Rinse and air dry. Avoid using alcohol or harsh solvents as they may weaken the PVC coating.
Use the matching PVC patch provided in the GloballToy repair kit. Cut the patch into a circle at least 2 cm larger than the hole. Apply PVC adhesive to both the patch and the area around the hole. Wait until tacky, then press firmly. Use a roller or smooth object to eliminate air bubbles. Allow at least 12 hours for full curing.
If a seam has burst, use a double patch method—one inside, one outside. For structural tears or high-pressure areas, it’s best to contact GloballToy for replacement sections or factory-level repairs. We can ship pre-cut reinforced patches specific to your unit’s material and color.
Reinflate the unit and check for air leaks. Monitor the repaired section under pressure for 30 minutes. If the repair holds and there’s no deformation, the inflatable is ready for use.
Never use duct tape as a permanent fix.
